Silver tetradrachm of the Greek Ptolemaic Dynasty of Egypt. Most of these date 90 BC to 76 BC, and were struck during the reign of Ptolemy XII. Obverse portrait of Ptolemy I, founder of the dynasty after the death of Alexander the Great. These were recovered from a shallow water shipwreck off the Mediterranean coast of Phoenecia.
